What’s in our Facial Exfoliator and Cleanser?

Face Exfoliator & Cleanser is a two-in-one cleanser with three physical exfoliants: jojoba esters, amber powder, and bambusa arundinacea stem powder, backed by bambusa stem extract and honey extract. The base uses coco-glucoside and sodium cocoyl apple amino acids as plant-derived surfactants, with jojoba seed oil, cetearyl alcohol, and xylitylglucoside.

The choice of exfoliants matters more than it might seem. Jojoba esters are spherical, biodegradable beads – they roll across skin rather than scratching it, which is what plastic microbeads did before they were banned and what crushed shells still do. Bamboo stem powder brings naturally occurring silica, and honey extract is a humectant with a long tradition in skincare. Sodium cocoyl apple amino acids is a mild amino-acid-based surfactant rather than a sulfate, so it cleanses without stripping.

Biodegradable exfoliants and sulfate-free surfactants. Massage onto damp skin, then rinse. Use two to three times weekly.
